Tuesday 11th November, at 11.00, Kirkcudbright Academy fell silent in remembrance of those that fell in conflict.
A representative group of Army and Sea Cadets, along with Academy House Captains joined the Senior Management Team to lay wreaths on the memorial in the Old School Hall, and at the remembrance stone in the school grounds. While this was taking place classrooms observed the 2 minute silence.
Prior to the laying of the wreaths, S6 students held a whole school assembly to remind the school why we remember those who fell in conflict. This was respectfully observed by All pupils in the school.
