On Friday 13th Sept, Ben H in S4 travelled to Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains, to compete as part of a team of four representing Scotland in the under 17s, international hill race. The competition includes representatives from Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland and across the gruelling hill run (210 metres elevation) Ben finished 11th, helping the Scottish Team to confirm 2nd place overall, just in front of the Welsh. Well done, Ben, what a tremendous achievement, to represent Scotland.
