All students will have their results certificate delivered to their home address by first class post today, Tuesday 8 August. Those who have signed-up for and activated their MySQA account will also receive their results by text and/or email the same morning.
If students do not receive their certificate with their post, they can contact the Academy, who can provide results and work with SQA to find out what has happened to the certificate.
Well Done, to everyone, hopefully you have achieved the results your hard work and effort deserves
Don’t panic if you have not achieved the results you were expecting there are a number of options you can access to get the help you may need:
Changing Subject
If you have not achieved a pass, at ‘C’ or above, in a subject you have selected to continue with at the next level for next year, please contact the school by phone to arrange an appointment to meet with the support staff. You may be asked to come in to school on Monday, August 21st, to discuss your options ahead of starting school on the Tuesday. This is only for students who needs to change subjects due to exam results.
Appeals
On Results Day, SQA will open its helpline at 8am to answer learners’ questions about their certificates.
If students have a concern about a grade for a National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher course, they can appeal for free. They can appeal either by contacting the Academy or by using SQA’s learner direct service. While the final decision is the candidate’s, SQA would encourage anyone considering submitting an appeal to discuss their decision with their teacher first.

Priority appeals are available for students who have a conditional offer for a college or university place or for a training or employment offer. Priority appeals must be submitted to SQA by Tuesday 15 August. All other appeals must be submitted by Tuesday 29 August.
