Congratulations to Rosie Porter in being voted Junior Sports Personality of the year at the Ernespie House Hotel on Friday Night. Rosie was one of ten nominations for the award, sponsored by the Co-operative, as part of the Stewartry Sports Council Sports Awards.
Rosie’s Award was for her achievements in Athletics, being part of the school athletics team and a member of Stewartry Athletics Club, notable achievements are:
- Gold Medal 200m (New National Record) – Cerebral Palsy Sport National Final
- Silver Medal 100m – Cerebral Palsy Sport National Final
- Bronze Medal Long Jump – Cerebral Palsy Sport National Final
Rosie is classed as a T38/F38 disabled athlete.
