The pupils and staff at Kirkcudbright Academy marked Remembrance Day on Thursday 11th November by holding a 2 minute silence along with a Wreath Laying ceremony.
The 2 wreath laying parties, one in the main school hall and the other at the memorial stone in the school grounds were headed up by the Prefect Team with support from members of the local Cadet forces and members of staff. With COVID restrictions in the school the official parties were much smaller this year, however the remainder of the school observed the 2 minute silence in their classrooms.
