30 pupils from Kirkcudbright Academy entered the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge on Tuesday 4th October. This challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
This year our Silver award winner was Marcus Duncan, seven Bronze awards went to Joshua Eade-White, Noah Goodare, Odran Simpson, Finlay Wilkinson, Fergus McClure, Solli Stephenson and Edie Wight. All other pupils achieved a participation award.
