Wearing face coverings in school.

As I am sure you will have seen in the news, the Government have acted on new advice from the World Health Organisation and have from made the wearing of face coverings compulsory for all secondary students when they are moving around the school and in communal areas, including toilets.  The requirement to wear face coverings has also been extended to all school transport.

Pupils and staff are encouraged to wear face coverings with immediate effect and certainly no later than Monday 31st August.

The only exception to this rule will be pupils who have a medical exemption; these pupils should already have an NHS issued exemption badge which they need to wear in school and on the bus.

Yours sincerely
