In November 2023 we invited the Inclusive Practice Team into the school to conduct an Inclusive Practice Visit.
This is a visit designed to assess how inclusive a school is for all its young people. In other words, how welcoming, supportive, and nurturing the environment and teaching is for them. As part of this visit, we sent questionnaires home to parents to enable you to take part in this process. The feedback from these questionnaires is highly valued by the school and will help us to better understand where we currently are in terms of inclusive practice and how to improve for the future.
The visit, which took place on the 15th and 16th of November, consisted of classroom observations, questionnaires to parents and staff, and face to face discussions with representatives of all pupil year groups.
