The S3 exam diet will take place during the week beginning Monday 25th November this year. These exams willbe used to support teacher’s assessment for students within their subjects and to provide experience forstudents in sitting a formal exam. All exams will be in your normal class unless students have been instructedotherwise by their teacher.
Monday 11th November, at 11.00, Kirkcudbright Academy fell silent in remembrance of those that fell in conflict. A representative group of S6 students, made up of House Captains and Prefects joined the Senior Management Team to lay wreaths on the memorial in the Old School Hall, and at the remembrance stone in the school grounds.

19 pupils from Kirkcudbright Academy entered the 2024 UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge on Tuesday 1st October. This challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. This year our Silver award winner was Hannah Chen, and three Bronze awards went to Brooke Crane, Iain McGougan and Stewart Walker. All other pupils achieved a participation award.
